Madhukar leads Co-Develop, leveraging more than 25 years of experience in impact investing, policy, and scaling nonprofits. 

Madhukar comes to Co-Develop from Omidyar Network, where as Managing Director he built out their global work on digital identity and digital public infrastructure. His previous experience includes setting up PRS Legislative Research, a research institution that focuses on making the legislative process in India better informed, more transparent, and participatory; working at the World Bank on issues regarding parliamentary capacity-building in various countries; and scaling some of India’s largest nonprofits, including education nonprofit Pratham

Madhukar was a Mason Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he earned his Master in Public Administration degree. He also has an MBA from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University. He was elected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and is an Eisenhower Fellow, Ashoka Fellow, and an Echoing Green Fellow. 

When he is not thinking about impact, Madhukar enjoys traveling with his family, watching movies, focusing on wellness, and dreaming of breaking the inertia to resume his amateur water-color painting interest.
